SEAS Scholars Program
A four-year cohort built for outcomes, not just aid
When like-minded students work closely together, positive peer pressure produces outstanding outcomes. SEAS Scholars receive scholarships, mentorship, professional development, and industry exposure from the day they arrive.
Four-year scholarships
Burrell and Thurman scholarships covering tuition and mandatory fees for high-achieving engineering students.
Alumni mentorship
Every scholar is matched with a Southern engineering alumnus for the duration of their matriculation.
Professional development
Ongoing academic support, career preparation, and industry exposure throughout the cohort experience.
Industry exposure
The annual SEAS Engineering Reunion connects scholars with alumni, companies, and the community.
Alumni
Time. Talent. Experience. Network.
As a Southern engineering graduate you are already equipped to move this program forward. Reconnect, mentor a scholar, help us recruit, or lend your expertise to a committee.

- Mentor a scholar for the duration of their matriculation
- Recruit talented high school students to Southern engineering
- Volunteer at the SEAS Annual Engineering Reunion
- Serve on a committee: recruiting, scholarship, partnerships, communications
